A link on its own is easy to scroll past, but a good line next to it gets people to tap and write. Pick a line from here, put it over your story picture or in your WhatsApp Status, together with your island link.

How do I use these lines?

Copy the line you like, write it over your ready-made island picture from the Me page, then add the link sticker. On WhatsApp Status, paste the line and the link together in a text status. Change the line every time you repost your link; a new line reminds friends to write to you.

Funny lines for your link

Light humour breaks the ice and gets friends writing, especially the ones who usually don't. These lines ask for messages with a smile and gently remind people to keep it kind.

Kind lines that bring nice messages

When you clearly ask for something kind, kind messages come back. These lines invite friends to encourage, thank and share good memories, and they suit a hard week when you could use a nice word.

One question with your link

A specific question brings more messages than "send me anything", because whoever reads it knows what to write straight away. Pick one question per story, and change it next time.

Lines we suggest avoiding

Some lines invite hurtful messages even when you mean them as a joke. Skip them to keep your messages kind and to spare your friends embarrassment. If a hurtful message still arrives, use block and report from inside the message.

"Tell me my flaws" or "roast me": they invite hurtful messages.
"Who has a crush on me?": it embarrasses friends and brings unkind messages.
Anything about looks or rating people.
